Race 6 and my first start.
Yeah less said about my start the better, 10k lights go out, dump the clutch and the front pops up.
I haven’t done a real race start before well not one that didn’t end at me hitting the speed limit.
Solid last place but catching the2nd last back in the last 2 laps.
I’m having fun with this.
Race 8 and the rain.
Started 9th in this one.
Much better start in this one, even got the hole shot into turn 1 over the guy in 8th.
Made a place up in the next 2 laps, Then the rain really started….
Lost a place when the bike in front and I had a slip on the sweeper.
Backed off after that but was still catching 1 bike and passed them on the 2nd last lap. Only to have them pit as they were on slicks.
5th place in the end I think with a 72 second lap somewhere in the middle.
