Race 3 : The Wet Race
The mix of scaring yourself and amazing fun are turned up to 11 when it starts raining at the track.
Started well but didn’t make any places into turn 1 thanks to really not trusting the grip.
Jezza, Nate and myself sticking together for the first lap
Lap 1: 1:39.30
Nate gets past Jezza before turn 1
Lap 2: 1:33.99
By Suckers I’m thinking about an over take but don’t have the confidence into Calvins.
Didn’t get a good run on to the back straight but caught up under braking as Jezza didn’t look happy on his new tyers
Lap 3: 1:31.81
Stuck with Jezza all the way round the lap even over took for a second braking into the last corner.
Lap 4: 1:30.81
Past Jezza into the last corner and managed to not fall off,
Then regretted it as I was using him to guide me around the track.
Managed to stay in front…just finishing 8th
Lap 5: 1:30.06

Tim Robson : oh and Jeremy Kidd and Jeremy Hudlestone have an awesome go at each other in the wet there where a dozen people on the pit wall glued to the 2 of them…I have never seen so many people get so excited over a battle for last place 😛

Track was still damp so my times weren’t back up to full speed

Lap 3: 1:17.91
Lap 4: 1:16.21
Lap 5: 1:15.59
Solid 10th to end the day
